An activity which is governed on the basis of certain rules and customs is called Sport . Sports commonly refer to activities where the physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determinant of the outcome , but the term is also used to include activities such as Baseball, Basketball, Tennis , Golf and many mind sports (a common name for some card games as well as board games.
A bat-and-ball sport having nine players each and played between two teams is called Baseball.In this sport , runs are scored by hitting a thrown ball with a bat and touching a series of four bases arranged at the corners of a ninety-foot square, or diamond.
